CVD & HEART FAILURE CLINIC
Review and Treatment of Cardiac-related Signs and Symptoms, Blood Pressure and Lifestyle.

All patients with diabetes will be invited to attend a clinic to discuss blood results, lifestyle, blood pressure and a medication review.
These Clinics are held in October by the Nurses and HCA’s. Advertisements are around the practice, added to prescriptions and the nursing team will opportunistically offer to eligible patients at other appointments.
The Practice Nursing Team holds a clinic for INR (Warfarin) every Wednesday. Patients are given their results immediately plus details of their dosage and their next appointment.
Some services are offered out with the NHS for which a fee is payable as recommended by the British Medical Association e.g. private medical examinations, travel immunisations, completion of insurance claims forms etc. The current charges are displayed in the surgery. Overseas visitors may also be charged as private patients.
MINOR SURGERY CLINIC
An appointment with the GP is required initially to arrange a referral to this clinic for a minor operation.
PRACTICE NURSE SERVICE
The Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants consult on an appointment basis only. Blood tests, dressings, ear syringing, contraceptive checks, HRT checks, travel immunisations.
Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma are seen at this clinic. A review of lifestyle, medications and treatment plans will be completed.
WELL WOMAN CLINIC
Offering well woman checks, advice, cervical smears and hormone replacement checks.
